Well hello there, I'm Max. I'm a black labrador/border collie mix.  I'm about 4 years old and I weigh about 55 lbs. I'm on the taller side with long legs and unique white stripe on my nose. I overheard someone say that I am a sweet and gentle dude and I'd have to agree! The thing is, I'm the shy and sensitive type which causes people to overlook me at the adoption center. 



I just need a home where, with a little encouragement, I can blossom into my full potential. My foster family has been working with me to help me build my confidence and I am making progress. I truly am a sweet, gentle and lovable guy who just wants to cuddle and play! In fact, if you let me I'd like to crawl in your lap for some snuggle time. I get along with everyone and I like to play with other dogs. In fact it would be helpful for me to have a companion animal in my home to show me the ropes.
