Teddy Goodman the Cat needs a home
The dogs and 2 cats in this transport were saved in memory and honor of Mel Brundage (1935-2017). Our grandfather whom loved all animals, especially dogs. The Goodman Family
When Teddy arrived at the rescue, this is the note that was with his records:
“
Teddy and Gracie have lived together their entire lives. These two long- hair beauties have been living with family friends after their 82 yr old mother passed away. They have been kept indoors their entire lives, spay/neutered and declawed. They are up to date on vaccines and Teddy (grey) was recently groomed because he had gotten some mats. They are friendly, loving and good with kids. They are well loved and well cared for, but friends can not keep them”.
Teddy's recent blood work has come back indicating he slightly hyperglycemic but the veterinarian felt it was caused by stress at the time. It was recommended that he be on a special food, Feline Metabolic Diet.
Teddy is a big, beautiful, teddy bear of a cat, born around July 17, 2012. His gorgeous coat is soft, thick, and luxurious. Whenever we enter the cat house he comes out from wherever he is sleeping to say hello and get some loving and we are happy to oblige! He likes to lay on the perch that is on top of one of our large scratching posts, even though most of him hangs off! He’s not overweight, he’s just big! He’s very sweet and loves to be pet and brushed and also puts up with being hugged! Teddy has lived with another cat all his life. Just like us humans, we can not always be with that one special person, so we need to go out into the world and find a new special person. With this thought in mind, we will be looking for a home for Teddy who has another kitty that will be his new best friend. He is getting along just fine with his new roommates while he waits to be adopted. We hope someone can give him a second chance for a forever home and family again.
The ADOPTION FEE for this cat is $75. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
