Most of you are making new year resolutions to lose weight, but I'm making one to gain weight, so send any nibbles you don't need my way. I started off weighing only 26 pounds, take a look at my before photo. Ugh, that was a ruff time in my life, but no pitty pawty here, I am in good hands now. I am 3 years old, but just starting on a real deal puppyhood. Doing zoomies, and running in the yard like I'm a 6 month old. I look like a content cinnamon swirl girl now, snuggled on the couch, but it wasn't always like this. I was rescued from the City of San Antonio shelter where I was a sad sight, with ribs showing yet a fat bloated belly, they thought it was from my heartworm disease, some thought I look like I had buns in the oven. I did, I had 9 little cinnabuns in my belly and by that I mean I had 9 puppies as soon as I got to my foster home. They are all eating kibble now and do not need me anymore, so I'm experiencing the fun of being a puppy just like they are. I am pawsing for a moment here to do a shout out to the inventor of blankies. Blankets are non negotiable! My new home must have blankies, because now that I know how soft fleece and cotton feel, I cannot go back to a life without cushy mushy blankets. I still have the scars from my past life that will always be there physically but I've already furgotten the hard knock life and live life to the fullest. I'm camping happy from now on. I am house-trained and ready to start life as someone's precious pet. I do need to finish up my heartworm treatment, but when that is done, I'll be brand new. Adopt me! Just email [email protected] and tell them you want ME! SEE YA SOON!!!
