Scorpio the Dog needs a home

We are not sure how Scorpio ended up at the Lake County Animal Shelter at the age of 10 years old, but we are sure he deserves a forever home to live out his remaining years. It's going to take a special person to adopt Scorpio.  Scorpio has a bad eye from an unknown injury leaving him fearful when first meeting people. Because of this, he isn’t doing well at the adoption events.



It takes Scorpio time to warm up to a person. Overtime, Scorpio has grown to love his foster home and is starting to enjoy life. He loves to wrestle with his foster sister and is prompting his foster mom to pick him up and rub his belly. If fact, he's a huge love bug in a small package and just needs time to trust.



We recommend Scorpio live in an adult household. His foster mom will work with the adopting family to help Scorpio adjust to life in his forever home. We know that most people want the dog to take to them right away, however, we promise that the love you'll receive from Scorpio will make the wait well worthwhile!
