Valkyrie is very energetic and sweet. Though she had aggression issues, she does very well with our two cats and loves to play with us. She likes to untie shoes to get you to play. She was found abandoned on the side of a highway last summer by a friend. We took her temporarily because we knew a shelter would immediately put her down. She was in heat, paws burnt from asphalt, not house-trained, severely dehydrated, had heart-worms, her skin was aggravated and was dog and food aggressive. She had no idea what to do with any toys for a long time. She is very smart and was house trained very quickly and also learned that she would not have to not worry about being fed. Our happiest moment was when she discovered how to play. Valkyrie has come a long way and we are so proud of her. However, we cannot keep her with our work schedules and our soon to be shrinking budget. Her aggression is the one thing we can't seem to help her with. She is taking medication for anxiety and for her skin condition. We would like for her to have a good home with people who can love her and understand that she has probably had a rough past and who will be patient with her. We took her in even though we knew it was more than we could handle to give her a chance. Now it is time to see if someone else can take her further. Thank you for your consideration and work.
