Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) Cat

Oscar the Cat needs a home

Please contact Adoptions ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.

Oscar is deserving of a pampered life. He was born in March 2009 and was recently rescued from a very sad situation. The lady taking care of him and many more cats unexpectedly died leaving them without food or water for several days. Oscar was found weak and dehydrated to the point where he needed help supporting his head to drink water. Many cats from this same home were already found dead by the time help arrived. Oscar is a true survivor! With veterinary and foster home care, he is on his way to being transformed from Oscar Madison to Oscar de la Renta.

For Oscar, age is just a number. He is full of spunk and loves running and playing with his favorite wand toy. He loves having companionship and always being close by his humans or cat friends. Mealtime is a highlight to his day and he is not a picky eater. He is happy to sit and fall asleep on your lap or be petted on his cheeks and the top of his head. He absolutely loves getting long strokes over his back which produces a very loud purr. Whoever adopts this great guy will be rewarded in return.

The adoption fee is $50 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, FELV/FIV test, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, and spay or neuter.
