Kanga the Dog needs a home
Kanga is a loving, attentive, 50 lb. Malinois or other German Shepherd type and sighthound (ie: whippet or greyhound type) mix. She's around 7 years old and her personality is a bit on the nervous side in that it takes her time to decide who to trust, and unexpected things like loud noises can really startle and scare her. Kanga's house trained, is reported to love horses, and has lived with and would do better with older, calmer kids. She currently lives with seven other dogs and does OK with most of them, but she really wants to be the "female dog boss" which can cause issues. She really needs a fairly quiet home where she's the only dog and there's usually a human around, or she might also do alright with another dog if it's a mellow, confident male, but it would have to be just the right dog. Kanga is athletic and interested in her surroundings (for instance what's going on on the other side of the wall/fence), so a very secure yard with at least a 6' wall or fence is a must. She is also spayed, up to date on her vaccines and micro-chipped.
