King the Dog needs a home

Meet King! King came to us when his owner decided he could no longer care for him. He has spent his whole life living in a pen outdoors so everything is new to him. He's still a little on the shy side but is making huge strides in learning to adjust to his new found love and attention. King and Queen are wonderful dogs around 6-7 years. They will take some time to adjust to a new home.  They came from an extreme neglect situation and are doing well with me but still skittish around new situations or people.  It is amazing how resilient animals are!  They were malnourished and living in a pen for years with little human contact.  They love other dogs and will play for hours but will wait to come in the door until the coast is clear of humans.  They do not love the human touch but will tolerate it and show no aggression when touched, just discomfort.   King and Queen will thrive in a calm, quiet household with another dog and lots of love.  King and Queen are very bonded and i fear might regress if separated.Come meet King and give him the home that he deserves.For more information: [email protected]
