Sawyer the Dog needs a home
This handsome boy is Sawyer! He is as smart and loving as he is handsome.
Talk about a change in luck for this boy! It took one person entering his life to realize he needed a safe and secure place to land. And boy did he find the best foster home to learn what it is like to be a love and spoiled dog.
Sawyer loves his people as much as his canine buddies. He has never met a stranger. Amazing how a dog can forgive and forget all of the neglect and love unconditionally. He now knows that soft squishy beds are for sleeping and well, he is learning that toys are for playing. But, he has learned that chewies are pretty awesome.
He loves being involved with whatever is going on in his home. He just wants to be involved . . . . in whatever is going on. This includes going on walks, riding in the car, watching his humans get ready in the morning or having a good play session with a canine buddy.
An active home with another dog who loves to play is a must. Needs walks, hikes and someone to continue his training since he is a big boy and needs to know what behavior is acceptable. His foster reports that he is quick to learn and has caught on quickly to sitting for pets, food, etc.
He is good in his crate once he is in it, but doesn't like to go into because he knows he is being left out of whatever is going on. He is also a shedder. He come with a big thick coat with that breed mix.
