Vee out on maternity the Dog needs a home
For Adoption:Vee and her newborn pups were rescued from a hoarder in TN with five of her friends. She is doing well in her foster home. She came to us very shy, and understandably protective of her pups. She was an absolute skeleton; taking care of the pups with very little food intake has not been kind to her body. She is getting great groceries here and has been gradually gaining weight. She has been coming out of her shell and now greets us with a wagging tail, eager to be petted and loved. The shelter director called our rescue partners in TN asking for help taking some of the dogs, since they did not have room for them all. The owner has no heat in her mobile home, but she would not abandon her dogs. She had her kids taken away from her the week prior. She had on 5 pairs of pants when animal control came trying to stay warm. They are going to seize the other 10 dogs as soon as they have space.
