Poe was adopted from our rescue one year ago, he was renamed Poe.  Poe is being very shy right now but he has been here less than 24 hours.  I pet him in his cube and he loves attention and wants to come out, he comes half way and goes back in.  He was very attached to the man of the house but his story is a sad one.  There is a small cat that lived with him and she was a total bully, even as far as monitoring the litter boxes and keeping him from using them so of course what choice did he have but to pee and poop elsewhere.  This cat has done a number on this poor boy for a year and he is traumatized, our job is to bring him back to the sweet boy he used to be.  Poe loves dogs but he may be fearful of other cats.  Poe did come out over night to eat and drink and YES used the litter box, no messes out of the box.  We need to find a loving semi quiet home, I think a dog would be a benefit but in his new home he will need time to adjust and trust he is safe.  Poe had to have all of his teeth extracted due to gum disease but he still prefers dry food over wet.  He is in a foster home and doing well but it took sometime, he will need time to adjust in a new forever home so the adopter will need to be patient with him.

His ID number is KC 504, his adoption fee is $50.00 which includes Felv and FIV test, distemper and rabies shots, worm and flea treatment.  Poe is neutered and ready to start his new life.
