Tigger the Dog needs a home
To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application.
Meet Tigger, a very friendly and outgoing 1.5 year-old Beagle mix female who has never met a stranger. She is a friend to all dogs and people alike! This little lady came into a rural county dog shelter as a stray back in November and had no luck finding a new home perhaps because she came into the shelter with a huge scar on her forehead. No one knows what trauma this girl suffered to have left such a scar but it hasn’t dampened the spirits of this girl as you can see from her big smile. Tigger made the trip to Canine Lifeline recently when her time was running out at the shelter so she would be able to take her time and find a wonderful person or family who would be able to overlook her scar and focus on her wonderful disposition. In spite of having been in the shelter for several months, Tigger has done very well in her foster home with crate-training and housetraining. She should continue both in her new home but should catch on to the new routine very quickly. She’s a quick study who’s very eager to please. Tigger loves playing with other dogs so would enjoy having a canine pal or two in her new home. She would probably also be fine as the only dog in the home provided her family has lots of time to spend showering her with love and devotion! Tigger weighs about 31 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email [email protected] if you’re interested in Tigger. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. Please visit our website at www.caninelifeline.org to see more photos of Tigger and to submit an online application.
