Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)
Najh the Cat needs a home
Najh is a handsome orange tabby/tuxedo (he's even got the white (bib) front and mittens!) He's quite shy but has long since ditched the box he used to peek out of his cage at the shelter staff from. He's still shy when meeting new folks at adoption events but with each one, he gets more brave and hides a little less in his fosters arms. He gets along well with the other cats at his fosters home. Foster Mom does not have dogs or human children so the only time Najh sees them is at adoption events and although he's curious, he's cautious.
Najh means no harm to anyone and allows us to handle him for anything needed. (He does give Foster Mom a little grief getting into the carrier, but when vet and adoption event sound so similar, you get a little nervous, right?) If anyone has a big heart and would like to work with him, patiently, we are sure that he would come around. We predict he will eventually be a gratifying success story and will attach with lots of affection to his new person/family, as he has to his Foster Mom. Foster Mom continues to work with him daily to socialize him and help him realize that humans can be pretty doggone nice. He particularly looks forward to pre-bedtime snuggles on the couch where he tells Foster Mom about his day watching the birds, squirrels and the Post Man! Ahhh, the life of a house cat! (He chirps and trills, every story is an adventure.)
?His adoption fee is $100.00 and includes neuter, shots, microchipped, FIV/Fel testing. If interested in Najh please fill out an application at www.sapamo.org.
