Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Phillip the Cat needs a home

TO ADOPT:  Complete an application at www.baltimorecats.org/application

Phillip is a one-of-a-kind cat.  Don't let his strange appearance fool you!  He is a loving, playful, funny boy.  He absolutely loves cuddles and strong pets, but he is the queen of our household and he bats us to let us know that he's done with pets.  Phillip had a tendectomy prior to coming to The Feline Rescue Association, which is an alternative to declawing.  So while he is not truly declawed, he cannot use or retract his claws.  Phillip had surgery on his eyelids a while ago; they are fully healed and he has discovered a new joy in playing with toys.  He loves to hoard all of the cat toys and bat them around with his cat friends.  Phillip gets along with other cats and dogs.  He is submissive and enjoys cuddling with friendly cats.  Phillip is FIV-positive, but that doesn't stop him from living a normal, fulfilled life.  He has a similar life expectancy to non-FIV cats and he lives harmoniously amongst them.  Right now he lives with six FIV-negative cats, including his best friend, Mr. Pink.  Phillip would love to have a family of his own and longs to finally settle down in a home.  He is up to date on vaccines, revolution, deworming, and he is neutered and comes with a microchip.
