All dogs with PUP are in private foster homes so we can provide our potential adopters the most current information available.



Health: Hugo has been neutered and microchipped. He is current on his DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has been wormed, flea treated, and tested negative for heartworm.

History: Hugo comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state.

Notes from Hugo's Foster Home:

Hugo is a funny, playful, and very smart little dog.  He’s small but mighty and is up for anything: long hikes, learning agility, even duck-herding lessons!  He’s always ready for a new adventure.  Hugo can be a little bit reactive when meeting new dogs and doesn’t always like to share his toys in the house, but he has started obedience training and his manners are quickly improving.  He’s very cuddly and loves to snuggle on the couch with us after a day of fun.  He does best with structure, so he’s looking for a family who will continue his training and give him plenty to do.  

Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Although PUP provides adopters up to the minute information on our dogs, we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.
