Meet Sirius! Finally, the real cat emerges! It has been several months, but Sirius has decided to shine. He was turned over to rescue as his owner found his night-time snacking habits difficult to take - he would wake her up and practically drag her out of bed for food. He was started with an automatic feeder in rescue and night-time snacking was no longer an issue, but he seemed a bit standoff-ish and cranky. Turns out the poor guy has a food allergy that was making him sick! He is now on an over-the-counter salmon based food and feeling great!
Sirius has a whole new outlook on life. He is playing and asking for attention. He has even been found sitting in a lap on occasion! He is ten years old, but chases a bug or laser pointer like a cat half his age.
Sirius is currently in a foster home with other cats that he gets along with, and one dog who he avoids. He was four-paw declawed prior to coming to rescue, and is looking for an indoor-only forever home!

ADOPTION INFORMATION: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriate), Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, de-parasited & micro-chipped before being adopted out. Our adoption fee is $160, including the required MN sales tax. All applicants must meet our adoptable cats in person. We do not ship any of our animals to adopters.
