Cornell (Guest) the Cat needs a home

Cornell is a 3 year old lovebug who has been to Hell and back. Yet, he remains the sweetest, most loving boy out there despite all of the misfortune he has been through. Would ya just look at this compact dynamo with an over-sized head..?! He is too cute!

As you can see from his pictures, Cornell is the most adorable boy, with a head bigger than his body! He is practically the size of a large kitten, even though he is full-grown. It just makes him even cuter. Sweet Cornell was rescued a few months ago from the worst part of the city, among abandoned houses, collapsed buildings, and heavy traffic. This area is known as "the sea of vacant houses and lost hope." Definitely no place for a social kitty to be living... alone with no one to turn to. On the day of my rescue, Cornell was in rough shape, his head and neck covered in wounds. It appeared he was preyed upon by all the other stray cats, due to his smaller-than-normal size, and Cornell is a very submissive boy, certainly not one to pick a fight.

Cornell dreams of a home where he would be the center of attention. He LOVES to be petted around his head and neck, and will purr up a storm all the while.  He also has NO desire to return to the outdoors - he is perfectly content roaming the house and being a part of his human's daily lives. He simply longs to be loved and cherished for the sweet, adorable, chunky-cheeked lovebug he is. He is such a special boy and can't wait to find the purrfect forever home.

Cornell is 100% vetted with all paperwork (fixed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and vaccinated for rabies and distemper). All medical records would be given to the adopter.

We ask that you keep Cornell inside, and no declawing, please. A vet reference is required, so that we know you will take good care of him. He has been through a lot of misfortune, through no fault of his own, and deserves a loving and forever home from here on out. Thanks for considering a rescue kitty!
