Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Hound / Mixed (short coat)

Crows, money, sheep………..what do those things have in common? They are all things you can count. You know what you shouldn’t be able to count? A doggie’s ribs. When I was living as stray in the small southern town of Cotulla, you could count all my rib bones and you can still see them now a bit, I weigh 65 pounds and should bulk up to a hunky 75 pounds in a few more weeks.  You would think I would be fatter, I was a stray living at a restaurant. But I guess I wasn’t too good at picking restaurants because it was abandoned, just like me. There was not a vittle or person in sight. A Good Samaritan wandered by and caught me in her eye and vowed to find a safe place with lots of nutritious delicious food and she did.  Now that I don’t have to worry about my belly growls or my itchy skin, I can do goofy dog normal fun like play in mud. I am dirty for funsies instead of dirty from being homeless, isn’t that a hoot. I am a triple sweet boy and I love other dogs and play well for a 3-5 year old guy. The ladies think I am a Labrador Retriever/Hound mix, just a good ole country dog ready to learn how life is supposed to be as part of a furreal family. Is it you? GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $300.00 FOR LOCAL ( Local is in the state of Texas)! Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.  IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $500.00 We transport all over the country!!
