Adopt a Chihuahua / Pug / Mixed (short coat)

PONCHO HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. Meet Poncho, a super-cute and charming 2.5 year-old Pug/Chihuahua mix male who was surrendered to an overcrowded county dog shelter by his owner who was moving and couldn’t take Poncho along. He though the shelter was kind of a scary place so made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he could enjoy life in a foster home while he works on finding himself a great new family to love. Poncho is a friendly and outgoing little guy who loves meeting new people as well as other dogs. He wasn’t a fan of his vet visit though although we can’t really blame him for that. In his foster home, Poncho loves spending some time with his fellow foster dogs and then curling up in his crate for a nap. He loves burrowing in his blankets and getting cozy. Cold weather and snow are not Poncho’s cup of tea! This little guy is very affectionate with his human friends and is going to make a great little companion for a small dog lover. Poncho weighs about 9 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email [email protected] if you’re interested in Poncho. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age.
