Basil the Dog needs a home

Tired of going on dates with people that stare at their phones the whole time? Or spending your hard earned money on therapy bills year after year? Or maybe you're frustrated that you post really insightful articles over Facebook only to get 5 Likes? Well, I'm Basil and I'm what you've been missing in your life -- someone who truly LISTENS! In fact, I'd be happy if poured your heart out to me all day. My foster parents know this because I wag my tail like crazy every time they talk to me! 

In addition to being a good listener, my other top skills are giving kisses, napping, being a lap dog, and chewing on my Nylabone. I am 10 years old so I am pretty mellow and easy to take care of, and know how to do things like go potty outside and sleep quietly (minus a little snoring) in my crate at night. 

You probably noticed I don't have any eyes. It doesn't bother me, so it shouldn't bother you either! Previously I had glaucoma, which caused quite a bit of discomfort, so I am feeling much better now. I have great hearing (remember those listening skills?!) and sense of smell, so I use those to get around fine. Since I am special needs, though, I am looking for a local adopter.
