meet Newton! He is 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds!! He’s a mostly dachshund Black and Tan (mix). Newton is a very sweet boy but wants to be the king of his castle... He does well with other submissive males that let him be in charge and He is not at all pushy after the pack is established. He gets along great with the girls

as adopted from the shelter in Salisbury, NC back in December and was recently returned after an incident with another male dog in the house. Newton is very athletic and has springs in his paws, he is a fence climber so he needs a fence that he can't climb over (4 feet or higher or he can be hand walked on a leash). Newton is very sweet and always excited to see you when someone comes in the kennel. He would do well with an active family with older children. Newton is heathy and fully vetted including his neuter, shots, and a microchip. He’s ready to go and his adoption fee is a $250 donation. Here is the link to our application,
