Hi my name is Maisy. I am about 6 years old. As you can tell from my pictures I am always pretty happy. Sadly, I do get anxiety at first when left alone. I get a little worried that you are not coming back for me, but I need to just be taught that you will always come back to me. If there is another dog in the house, I am totally fine when left alone. I just do not like to be totally alone. I have been abandoned by my family that told me they would love me forever, so you see why I get worried?  


If you ask me, I am a great catch for someone. I get along great with dogs, cats and kids. I actually love everyone! I love to be held and loved on and definitely up to sit on the couch and watch a movie. I weigh about 12 pounds. What more can you ask for. My foster mom says I am a wonder dachshund, because she says I wonder what else is in there, yea we do not really know my breed.  If adorable was a breed, that is me! I know black dogs have a very hard time getting adopted, but I am hoping my radiant personality will prove the statistics wrong.  If you are looking for a sweet and adorable little girl, then stop right here, because that is ME!


Maisy's adoption fee: $150


We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.
Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day. If we all agree on the placement, then the dog will stay with you that day.
