A Little Bit About Me

Lovely long-haired Kristy has lived her entire life as the beloved companion of an elderly woman. A calm and quiet home with adults who will be patient and give her the extra time she needs to gain confidence and develop trust will best for this sweet but scared kitty. She has no previous experience with children or other pets and, most likely, would prefer a kid-free, pet-free home; all the more attention for her as your one and only love!

A small, quiet room outfitted with all of her necessities will be the best place to introduce Kristy to the household. Be patient. When she seems comfortable, let her explore this space and engage in some play with a wand teaser or other toys. Spend plenty of time snuggling and cuddling together; she enjoys gentle petting and will purr with pleasure at your touch. Soon Kristy will be ready to explore the rest of the house, one room at a time, under your watchful eyes. Always leave a pathway open for her to return to her sanctuary whenever she feels the need.

Although she may need some extra time to adjust to her new living arrangement, your kindness and patience now will be rewarded with a devoted and affectionate companion for many years to come.
