Ricky the Cat needs a home

 



 Gunther and Ricky once knew the hardships and heartaches of the stray life.


 They've also known the comforts of a safe, loving place when they were fortunate


  enough to find a caring home. What a devastating time for these friendly, mature 


 boys when their guardian died suddenly, leaving them and some other rescued cats


 in need of new homes. Outgoing, adventurous Ricky became seriously depressed


 and withdrawn. Good-natured Gunther tried to put on a brave face and muddle through but he had to adjust to being cared for by strangers in an unaccustomed environment. Both of  the boys had their spirits lifted and confidence increased when we were able to reunite them with each other. Our goal now is to keep them together


in  a forever home with space and love enough for two special boys.

He has also known the comforts of a safe, loving place when they were fortunate enough to find a caring home. What a devastating time for them when their guardian died suddenly, leaving them in need of new homes. Outgoing, adventurous Ricky became depressed and withdrawn. Good-natured Gunther tried to put on a brave face and muddle through but he had to adjust to being cared for by strangers in an unaccustomed environment.  Unfortunately Gunther developed health issues which eventually progressed to his passing leaving Ricky alone. He does have a heart murmur and has been diagnosed with advanced liver disease requiring daily doses of a steroid, which he accepts readily.





Ricky has been with us for over 4 years; while he remains aloof, it would be wonderful if he could spend his remaining time in a home with his very own family.
