See that handsome face? Big Teddy is a big, strapping fellow, estimated to be between three and four years old, and weighs in at an impressive 70 pounds. He has put his former life and stay at the shelter behind him, and has come to fully embrace life in a home, where he is cared for. It's our privilege to watch him start feeling better, and we see it in the way he seeks attention and affection, loves being petted, comes running and bouncing for chow time and has even started enjoying chew treats and toys. He loves keeping his foster mom company while she works. And being a little on the lazy side, he loves to spend hours on a big soft bed, chewing on a toy! 

He also loves sunbathing and being brushed (that might be his favorite reward!!!) and with plenty of nutritious food, exercise and all that brushing, he's looking better every day - with his pretty, shiny black coat and his big, shiny eyes!

Big Teddy is fully vetted, and tested positive for heart worms, and is currently undergoing treatment, which at this point means simply he is restricted from running and jumping, until he gets re-tested and the "all-clear"! 

Teddy is house-broken, crate-trained, and has learned the commands to sit and to lay down. This boy has a lot of love to give the right person!!!

We do home checks and have a 10 day in-home trial period before finalizing the adoption. Our standard adoption fees cover spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, vet check and heart worm test. Our dogs are current on heart worm preventative. Puppies over 6 months and adults are $250 and puppies under 6 months are $300.
