Adopt a Beagle / Bluetick Coonhound / Mixed (short coat)
Jace the Dog needs a home
Meet Jace! This handsome guy initially came to us from an overcrowded rural shelter where he was living outdoors with many other dogs. He was quickly adopted but is being returned through no fault of his own. Jace's parents had a baby and decided they no longer have time for him. He is about two-years-old and around 40 pounds. We believe he is a beagle/blue tick mix. Jace does well with other dogs and with cats (he has lived with two cats). He does well with kids but needs work on his manners around very small children. Jace's owners said he doesn't know how to be gentle with a newborn, but training would be an easy fix. Jace loves to snuggle up with his people and also loves playing outside. Jace is housetrained, knows basic commands, and does well on his leash. He is a happy and active young boy who would love an energetic human to take walks and hikes with.
Jace's adoption fee is $150. He is fully vetted - neutered, heartworm tested, vaccinated against Rabies, Bordatella, and DHPP, microchipped, wormed, and up-to-date on monthly Revolution for flea/tick/heartworm prevention. In order to adopt Jace, we require that you are at least 21-years-old and own your home. If you are interested in adopting Jace, please email [email protected] for an adoption application. Thank you!
