Brownie the Dog needs a home
Brownie is a 4-5 year old Chihuahua who was found abandoned behind a store. This little girl had been hit over the head with an object that caused her to have a very large wound. She was taken to the vet for an examination and was found to have tick fever. The vet also confirmed she had been hit in the head with something but did not feel any permanent damage had happened from it. Her wound was cleaned up and she was given the medication to treat the tick fever. She has been spayed and updated on all of her shots. She also has had a dental done. The history of Brownies first years of life are unknown but whatever did go on we feel has contributed to her being very afraid of kids and adults she doesn’t know. Brownie would do best in a home that does not have young kids. She will need to be given time to adjust and get comfortable with her surroundings and people. Brownie does well with other dogs and likes to snuggle up with them for security and comfort. Her canine best friend is a 73lb shepherd mix. Brownie does well with cats and tends to hoard all the little cat toys in her foster home. She is very attached to the adult male in her foster home. She follows him everywhere and doesn’t like to be away from his side. We feel she would be a great companion to anyone that is looking for a little dog that wants tons of one on one attention and love. Once she is use to her adult people she is extremely sweet and affectionate. Brownie is potty trained and uses a doggy door. Her foster parents haven’t had any issues with her chewing on stuff she should not be chewing on. Brownie is a cute little doll that deserves a kid free calm home to call her own. She will just need to be given patience and time to adjust.
