Hi! My name is Mrs. Maisel....because my foster mommies say I’m Marvelous!!! I’ve come a long way since they picked me up from the shelter and they say I’m doing better each day!

You see, my human mom passed away so I was taken to the shelter along with a few other dogs I lived with. Everyone at the shelter took great care of us, but I was so nervous and scared and didn’t understand why we couldn’t go home. Then my foster mommy picked me up and brought me to stay with my new foster family, and I’ve been adjusting really well! I’m 3 years old, I can do some tricks like spinning in a circle for treats and catching ANYTHING food related my mommy tosses in the air for me, I do great in my crate, and I’m potty trained. I do have a bit of a hard time with some hard food unless it’s very small because I don’t have all my teeth, but it doesn’t slow me down! Soft food at times does make it easier for me to eat as well. I prefer to be with my person or those I’m used to over being around other dogs. I didn’t mind the dogs at my old house and am ok around one or two submissive dogs, but I really prefer just my person! Give me a nice lap to sit on, a snuggly dog bed, and someone to rub my belly (that’s my favorite!! Puts me to sleep!!) and I’m happy! Even though I’m only 3, I already prefer a calm and quiet life, I’m a definite couch potato! My foster family took things very slow with me and were patient by earning my trust with hot dogs and showed me how much they cared! They love me so much and have told me that they are preparing me for my forever family! They said my forever family is going to love me more than I can imagine and that they will be patient too and give me time to trust them (hot dogs help, I’m a sucker for them!).

I’m a very loyal girl, I promise. I know I’ve been through a lot lately but if you give me a chance I promise to never leave your side and be your best friend forever....that’s all I want! Mrs. Maisel is spayed, current on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested and on preventative. Her adoption fee is $250.
