Adopt a Shepherd / Collie / Mixed (medium coat)

How do I love you, let me count the ways. Oooops, just remembered, I can’t count.  But if I could, I would totally count the ways I will love you. They call me Tom.  Simple and to the point, just like my ears.  My perky ears tell the ladies I am mostly likely of Shepherd hairytage, but the subtle brown patches on my otherwise creamy coat and fabulous wiggley tail, say I might have a hint of Collie in me.  I am only 12 months or so and no one knows the whys wheres hows or whos about me ending up at the pound, but I am glad my story didn’t stop there. I am medium sized and only weigh in at 40 pounds, but I might gain a bit in muscle now that I am getting proper care and have the opportunity to stretch my legs.  I am a take charge type of dude, so I do better around playmates that don’t mind me bossing them around. I like dog friends and people friends in general. I have my heart set on a family that will throw a Frisbee or ball for me to fetch.  I did test positive for heartworms, but I already started treatmint, which dissapointingly does not involve actual treats or mints.  I want a long life of fun in the sun or snow, please adopt me.  Just email [email protected] and tell them you are ready for ME!

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $300.00 FOR LOCAL ( Local is in the state of Texas)! Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.  IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $500.00 We transport all over the country!!
