Charlie the Dog needs a home
Charlie is an 8 year old, 80 LB Labrador/ Rhodesian Ridgeback mix full of energy and love. Charlie will sit quietly with you and also be up for any adventure. He LOVES hiking, but not for too long. He is definitely a homebody and an old soul. His favorite hobby is sleep! But, he will get out and play with a little encouragement. He loves to burn energy through chasing his toys around and play tug a war. Charlie is the perfect match for someone who lives alone or with older children/ adults and likes to stay in. He is potty trained and whip smart! Unlike most dogs, he does not bark very much, only when there is potential threat at the front door, i.e. Mail man. He is very calm, quiet and sleepy most days, unless he knows he is about to go for a walk. Charlie is the most loyal dog you will ever have and often very protective. I feel honored to have had Charlie in my life. He is loving in his own unique way and much attached to the leader of the pack. Although Charlie Is a fantastic dog to be part of the family, there are some caveats. He is not very good with small Children, due to his past abuse and he does not like to share his food. He has been trained to sit first before setting his food bowl down. Continued training is highly advised. All his shots are up to date and his next rabies shot is in 2020.?
