Tilly the Dog needs a home
Tilly is a stunning 1-year-old, 63-pound German Shepherd that lived through a tough time after being abandoned at Fort Ord and fending for herself for two months. She was skin and bones when her foster family picked her up at the Salinas Shelter. Now the picture of health, Tilly has learned to trust and has mastered her basic obedience commands. She is crate trained and gets along with other large, male dogs. She does have a prey drive and needs a home with no cats or other small animals. Tilly requires an experienced adopter that can continue her training and can provide serious daily exercise. Adult household or family with teens preferred. Experience with shepherds a plus.
