Sweetheart J the Cat needs a home
Hello, my name is Sweetheart. I was living outside and having a hard time finding enough food. A nice couple started feeding me. I was afraid of them but eventually started meowing for food and letting them get within a few feet of me.
When I had kittens, I moved them to live under the couple's shed. It made the trips to get food shorter. I had trouble hunting enough food to feed everyone. So, I would put up cat food in my mouth and carry it to my babies. The couple brought us all inside and gave us a place to live.
I am good with cats. I have not objected to them playing with my babies. I can not tell you how I am with dogs. There are none living here with us.
I am very wary of people. I will take treats directly out of their hand. I will also sniff their fingers to say hello. Once in a while I will let them pet me for a little bit. Usually I will just shy away from them. But, I have even brushed up against their legs. They are working with me, but it will take time.
