Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)
Irma (Springs) the Cat needs a home
Irma is a playful, goofy, affectionate little girl who likes to chase after tossed toys. She is also quite vocal and will tell you when her bowl is empty. She likes to be picked up and cuddled and will purr when you show her attention. When Irma was just a few weeks old, her stray mother, a Calico, brought her and her littermate brother to the patio of a home in Coral Springs the day before Hurricane Irma arrived. The family who lived there took them in to keep them safe during the hurricane, and hand fed them kitten formula. After the storm passed, the family decided to continue caring for them until they were old enough to be adopted. Irma and her brother, Harvey, were named for the two big hurricanes that occurred around the time they were born. Irma is used to being around other cats and is familiar with the family dog. She seems interested in playing with wagging dog tails.
Adoption fee is $75 and includes FVRCP & rabies vaccinations, FIV/FELV testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian.
