Melvin the Cat needs a home
Handsome Melvin came to the shelter after he was found as a stray. He loves laying out in his kennel with his belly up in the air and is always happy for attention. He likes to be the only cat and would love an owner who would baby him. He loves to be spoiled. He likes all toys and really likes treat balls and is very good getting the treats out.
In his foster home, Melvin has been showing his sweet and goofy personality. He is very playful and interested in most types of toys, including feathers and catnip mice. He enjoys playing either independently or with a person. He likes to hide behind furniture and then jump out to pounce. He is talkative and sometimes even meows back when spoken to. He makes a cute trilling meow when he is surprised or excited. When he is not busy playing or chatting, Melvin is also quite cuddly and affectionate. He loves to join his foster mom on the couch and sit on her lap or snuggled up next to her. He often sits in funny poses, like with his belly in the air or his back legs stretched out behind him. He likes having his head scratched, being pet, and being brushed. Melvin has been outgoing and friendly with new people visiting his foster home. He's sure to win you over with his silly charm!
