Gypsy May the Dog needs a home
Please consider that many of these dogs have been abandoned, ignored by their previous owners, or turned in to a shelter, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.
When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.
Gypsy May is a beautiful two year old GSD who was surrendered because she was wandering over to the neighbor's ranch and chasing the chickens. The owner was afraid the neighbor might take serious action against the dog, so he gave her up. According to shelter reports, the owner stated that Gypsy is good with people, kids and other dogs (she lived with a Pomeranian). She is house trained and crate trained. We will post more as she gets settled. UPDATE: Gypsy is living with 3 other dogs in a foster home and although her introductions were bumpy, she is now buddies with her foster brothers (GSD and Boston Terrier) and and loves to play with them. She will even lay down to give the Boston Terrier a slight advantage during play. She is protective of her food, so she is being fed separately. She loves going for long walks, but she does get really excited when she sees other dogs and we are working on this. She has spent time in doggy daycare where she did well with other dogs. From what her foster mom has observed, it appears as though Gypsy spent a lot of time outside and she is really enjoying her naps on a dog bed as well as the attention of her foster parents. She's very obedient, house trained, crate trained and a happy girl who's waiting for her forever family to come along. A home without cats may be best. Gypsy's adoption fee is $300.
