Ruby the Dog needs a home

Ruby quickly stole our hearts when we crossed paths with her at a local shelter.  She had been picked up as a stray and the owner was contacted but decided to surrender her.  The shelter was full and Ruby was heartworm positive and was at risk of being euthanized.  We took her outside to visit and she was such a sweet, loving dog and we rushed to welcome her to TSDP!



Ruby can be a little timid initially in new places and with new people but once given a few minutes to warm up she starts cuddling and giving kisses.  She has a really sweet disposition and is very people oriented and also likes other dogs.



Ruby's adoption fee is $225 and covers her vaccinations, spay, microchip and heartworm treatment (and then she just needs to be kept on monthly heartworm prevention to protect her from the pesky mosquitoes).  Ruby's about 40 lbs and we're estimating she was born around June 2014.
