Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)
Pepsi the Cat needs a home
ID: Juice
Internal ID: CMK
Pepsi is a female black-brown marbled tabby domestic shorthair born approximately around May 30th, 2017. She was rescued as part of a trap and neuter program in Davis’ West Village apartments with her brothers Boba, Latte, and Juice. Pepsi needs a patient family willing to take the time to properly socialize her since she came to our program feral. Pepsi has anxiety and takes a while to warm up to people, but once she gets to know you, she is a real sweetheart who loves to both give and receive kisses and purrs easily. She absolutely loves to snuggle. Pepsi should not be adopted on her own and would be so much more at ease if she was adopted with her big brother Boba!
Notable Features: Pepsi has the tiniest little paws and likes to hold onto things with them.
Special Skills: Pepsi is a heavy sleeper and her petite size makes her great at hiding!
Favorite toy: String or ribbon! Pepsi is a simple girl who never seems to get bored with a good piece of string. She also likes to chase the laser pointer.
Favorite activities: Eating chicken baby food as a treat, grooming herself, licking people’s faces, cuddling, and taking lots of naps.
Favorite Sleeping Spot: A warm lap
Fun Fact: Pepsi may look black at first glance, but she is actually a very dark brown marbled with black. You can see her markings best in the sunlight.

If you are interested in adopting, please follow the instructions below to expedite your application:
2. Please specify which animal you are requesting on the application by noting the "NAME" of the animal and the Internal ID.
3. We will email or call you if we need more information; since we get many applications and are volunteers, we may not contact you immediately. You may email [email protected] if you have additional questions.
All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have are Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $90 for kittens or $60 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).
The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All of our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email [email protected]. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.
We are still accepting applications on this animal; we do remove the pets from our site once they are adopted.
