Penelope may start out a little timid and fearful, but once she is comfortable look out! She really wants to be a lap dog; her favorite activity is curling up someplace comfy, so she insists that you buy her a big, puffy dog bed. She perks up with squeaky toys, but does need to be comfortable in order to play with them, and she''ll definitely let you know when she''s ready! Children in the home should be at least 12 years old, so that they are old enough to understand Penelope''s needs in order for her to be successful.
