PJ & Starbuck the Rabbit needs a home
Starbuck & PJ came to MHRR in July 2017 as an owner surrender.
These two are approx 6 months old, this year's Easter bunnies. They are curious and aloof! They do pretty well with the litterbox, but have the occasional poops outside the box. Both PJ and Starbuck (the one with the "star" on the forehead) are very curious and love to explore, especially PJ! Starbuck is the more relaxed of the two but both enjoy pets and don't especially mind being picked up for a quick snuggle. They can climb fences, and have previously escaped a 4' playpen with a cover multiple times, so they will need to either need to have a habitat with a roof (such as a C&C homemade cage) or be free-range.
This pair is fostered in Baton Rouge, LA.
All MHRR rabbits are spayed or neutered and are now microchipped (previously tattoed with "MHR" in the ear). Adoption fees are $50 for single bunnies or $80 for already-paired rabbits. Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates) though we can also schedule appointments outside of those days.
