SEQUOIA the Dog needs a home

Sequoia is a gorgeous 5 year old Great Dane and German Shepherd mix looking for a special family all her own. Sequoia can be shy at first but warms up quickly when she is outside of her kennel. She is very sweet and while she prefers a calm and quiet environment, she is also quite playful and will need regular exercise and room to run around. Sequoia walks well on a leash and knows her basic commands, she is very smart and eager to learn more!
This past October Sequoia had surgery on a torn ACL and has experienced a full recovery. We have had lots of experience with sequoia and she has many friends here at the shelter. She would do best in a calm home. From what we have observed she is fine with other animals and people who are low key. Sequoias perfect home would have a laid back environment perhaps with someone who worked from hoe that she could spend the day with in a studio or home office.
