Connie the Dog needs a home
Sweet, sweet Connie is still in search of her furever family. She is a 2 year old border collie mix who is super smart and playful. She is doing great with her obidence training and catches on quickly. She is very energetic so an active adopter is what she needs. Connie loves to play with her foster siblings, 2 girls and 1 boy. Connie has had a rough life so far, she got put in a shelter when she was 1 and spent a year there before coming to SAAP. Because of this she has learned some behaviors that aren't the greatest. She jumps, but a boop on the nose makes her stop. With consistency I don't think it will be long before this habit is broken. She also gets stressed out and becomes reactive around groups of people so meeting people should be on her terms. She does amazing with one on one meetings though. Connie also does not like children, she's probably been scarred by bad experiences with them. Don't let her anxieties keep you away from her, she will be an amazing dog if given the chance. Did I mention she is house trained, loves her crate, and is a cuddle bug?!?!
