RESCUING GUS
Gus (formerly Anton) came into Dekalb County Animal Control with a mangled back leg and tail. We are guessing he was hit by a car. The pound is not the place for a dog with such a horrific and painful injury. Even in his condition, upon our arrival, he was still a happy, tail wagging boy. Gus got his freedom ride on October 25, 2015. Our vet determined that his injuries occurred a few weeks ago and there was no way to save his leg or tail. Gus is now a tripod with docked tail, but he is much happier and healthier this way.
ABOUT GUS
Gus is a sweet, sweet boy. He is snuggly-est of all the snugglers and he loves his humans just as much as he loves a big comfy blankie. Gus is searching for a forever family where he can be the only dog in the home.
Our adoption fee is $250. All dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, on heartworm prevention, and are fed top of the line grain-free food.
