Adopt a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (medium coat)

The name Anani means `grace` and `mercy`, which we would believe suits her well with her simple elegance and compassion for people. However she wont be showing your heart any mercy when you meet her, she''s as sweet as they come and you''ll be falling in love with her before you know it. She is a very smart girl, knowing the command `sit` already and working on mastering the `down` command. Anani would probably make an excellent dog for obedience classes or agility trials, given her breed mix. Eager to please and learn. She loves to jump right into your lap and sit there, she probably would sit there all day if you let her. She is gentle in her treat taking, however she''s trying to watch her girlish figure because she is a little `plump` at 34lbs. We are not sure how she does with other canines or children so if you have either, feel free to bring them out to the shelter to meet her!

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. All pets come with age appropriate vaccines, deworming, heartworm and flea prevention, microchip, and health certificate from our veterinarian.
