Bernice the Dog needs a home
Bernice and her sister Birdie were found as strays in Texas. They were seen running around traffic on the side of a road. When rescuers got there, her sister Birdie led rescuers to Bernice. The sisters are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Bernice is an 8 month old shep/lab mix who is good with all people and other dogs. She is up to date on shots (age appropriate) and will be spayed prior to placement in her forever home. Her foster mom says: "Bernice and Birdie are extremely sweet and great with other dogs big and small. They love affection and are perfectly crate trained. They are perfect little pups. I don't think they will get very big, maybe 30 lbs at the most? They are good with cats and not food aggressive. They are learning to sit but get excited for treats."
