Adopt a Great Pyrenees / Anatolian Shepherd / Mixed (long coat)
Jasmine the Dog needs a home
Jasmine was found in a rural area with a litter of puppies. Animal control picked them all up, and not surprisingly, the puppies were quickly adopted. Jasmine was very timid in the shelter, but once she got into a foster home with people who loved her and gave her plenty of food to help fill out her thin frame, she came out of her shell. She's still not the kind of dog to run to greet visitors, but she will walk up to meet them, making it easy for people to pet her.
Jasmine gets along well with all the dogs at Windsong Ranch, and she is safe with all of our livestock (including chickens) and barn cats. She can go over a 4' or 5' fence easily, but our 6' chain link fence seems to keep her safely contained during play time in the yard. She enjoys time in the yard, but prefers to be in the house most of the time. She likes napping on the sofa or the human's bed, but will also nap in the crate sometimes. She is reliably house-trained, so we can leave her in the house, un-crated, and not have to worry about anything.
