Hi! My name is Savannah (Savie for short) and I traveled all the way to MN from an island off of Mexico, Isla Mujers!
My foster mom tells me I'm a truly special girl that will win anyone's heart over. When I first arrived, I was a bit shy and unsure of my environment, but it was my first time on a plane, so it kind of wore me out. Each day, I've gotten braver and braver and learned how to be a puppy! Oh yes, a true puppy my foster mom tells me...romping around the house, doing zoomies, playing with squeaky toys, chewing on my foster sisters ears, and of course slippers...oh boy do I love those things! I also love to snuggle and nestle up in my foster mom's arms when we fall asleep at night and give her kisses in the morning.
When I'm left alone, I'm either in a crate or gated in the kitchen. I prefer being gated so I can sleep in a comfy bed, but I'm fine with the crate too. Although, I am not a fan of the white cold stuff on the ground, I mean, I'm used to warm sunny beaches; I have learned that 'going outside' is where I do my business. The only times I have a teeny tiny accident, is when my foster mom comes home and I tinkle a little bit, because I'm excited.
It was a rough road from the beginning for me, I had skin issues and patchy fur; and am taking flax seed to help with that. I still get a little nervous if I think I might have done something wrong and may go hide under the table. However, I'm in a much better place now and couldn't be happier to be in rescue! My foster mom loves me to the moon and back and can't wait for me to find my FURever home! <3
