DOG'S DESCRIPTION

Gracie is a sweetheart who was dumped heavily pregnant to our partner shelter. We got her out and she had puppies two days later. All her puppies have been weened and she has been in a foster home for 8 weeks now. Now that her pups found a home (and she was wonderful momma), she is hoping to find a home on her own and be someone's baby for a change. She gets along well with the resident doggie and has a very gentle nature. She thrives in a calm environment and is very mellow girl who likes to cuddle. Small children might be a little overwhelming for her (if they're not gentle), but otherwise she is perfect for any home. Will it be yours?

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
