Ellie the Dog needs a home

Hi! My name is Ellie. I’m an 8 pound, dachshund mix, 3 month old baby girl and I’m looking for my forever home! I was found cold and crying under a home, nobody knows how I got there, but I was very scared. I have since grown into this healthy, very energetic, happy and playful little girl. I love to run outside and play with my other foster siblings. My foster mom says I run circles around all the other dogs in the house, so I would love to go to a home with another dog to play with. I love wrestling with my foster sister, Trixy, the other dogs in the house are older and don't like to play too much. I also love chewing on toys, and balls, and sticks, and whatever I can get my puppy teeth into! But when I'm done with all the playing, running and bounding around I do love some snuggles to take naps. I also go in my crate at night with minimal complaints when is time to sleep. I’m working on this thing called “house training” I’m not sure what it means, but my foster mom keeps saying I’m very food motivated and I will learn soon! The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is an additional $10.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip. If adopting a puppy, the rabies and spay/neuter will be done at the same time by our vet once they are 4 months old and billed to us. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
