Kurt is a male black and tan Dachshund mix. He is 2 years old and he weighs 37 pounds. Kurt is fully vetted including spayed, vaccinated with rabies, occult heartworm tested negative and receiving monthly heartworm prevention. He is ready for adoption. Kurt came to rescue with his dad and sister who were surrendered by their elderly owner who could not care for them. Kurt is a chunk and needs to lose about 6-7 pounds. Otherwise he’s about perfect. Kurt is a follower and would love to be your shadow. He enjoys pets and scratches. Kurt knows his name. He is shy in some circumstances but a little protective in others. He likes other dogs and loves to run and play with them. He is a bit food aggressive and should be fed separately. Kurt is crate, potty and basic leash trained. He would be suitable to any home life.
