Patches the Dog needs a home

Patches is about 1 year old and a complete lovebug. When she was just a pup she was chained outside and left. She had a few litters of puppies but never knew love. Now she is in a foster home and is learning what it means to be a family dog. She is house broken, crate trained, LOVES dogs and is good with cats. Knows basic obedience but is still working on consistency. She is timid and takes some time to trust her humans. She is good with kids but they should be dog savvy. Patches is part collie and is incredibly intelligent so will need a home that can keep her mentally and physically occupied. Please give her a chance and know that it may take a bit for her to know she can trust you, but once she does she will be yours faithful and true to the last beat of her heart.
